This morning on the way to church in the backseat we hear:
Elizabeth:
"Abby, hold my hand, hold my hand, hold my hand. Please hold my hand Abby" (Elizabeth is holding her hand out to Abby and finally Abby grabs her hand).
"Look Abby, houses, cars, trees, gas (gas station), car wash, mcdonalds, car, car, house, house. I'm telling Abby what I'm seeing. Abby, we saw houses, cars and gasses (gas stations)."
At this point, I turned around and noticed that Elizabeth had Abby's blanket in her lap. So, I asked her, "Elizabeth why do you have Abby's blanket?"
And she answered, "Because I said please and Abby said yes"
(Well, at least in her make believe world in which Abby talks, Elizabeth was polite and said please. What more can a mother ask for?)
